Christmas is just around the corner, and comes for most of us with feelings of security, warmth and love. However, warm tidings and figgy pudding are not a given for many children in some parts of the world. In Cameroon there are over 100000 orphans living on the streets or in orphanages. Therefore, Hope Foundation members will visit the Bosa Orphanage in Bali, Cameroon, and celebrate Christmas with them – including Christmas Dinner, carols, making decorations….and, of course, they will go bearing gifts.
The cost of providing gifts and a special meal to these children is prohibitive for the orphanage, so Hope Foundation has committed itself to making the season merry by bringing love, hope, and joy into the lives of these children. This will be the fourth year in a row that the organization will be supporting an orphanage in Cameroon. In order to boost the local economy, presents, food, and decorations will all be purchased in Cameroon. Snowman not included.
A donation of 10 € will provide a gift, meal, and party for one of the 40 children, and make their lives a little brighter. The remaining 100 € will be used to buy sanitary products and school materials. Since all Hope Foundation staff donate their time, we can guarantee that 100% of every contribution will be used to provide the children with a happy holiday. Each donor will receive a card from the children, as well as photos from the Christmas party, and a report on the project’s success from Hope Foundation.
