Sustainable Life Trust was started in 1997 by 5 like minded persons who are educationally qualified and socially committed and working with the vision of:
to enable poor and marginalized people to gain a better quality of life with improved economic, health and social well being and to empower women for better gender equality and sustainable development through training and awareness programmes. Sustainable Life Trust with a mandate to unite resource poor, disadvantaged community to achieve sustainable livelihood, positive environment, health, socio-economic change and to improve the eco-system through sustainable agricultural practices.
Mission:
To attain our goal, Sustainable Life Trust creating awareness on sustainable livelihood based on environment, providing capacity building and use of native Medicare system training and developed its activities to organizing women, youth and farmers’ groups; make them for collective action for protection and conservation of natural resources, motivating them on self-sufficiency and self-determination.
We are affiliated with Tamilnadu Voluntary Health Association-Chennai, Water Integrity
Network-Germany, World Toilet Organization-Germany and Tamilnadu Environmental Council.

Documentation and promotion of Ethno-veterinary practices in Dharmapuri district
Promotion of Home herbal garden & sustainable agriculture
Campaign on Safe drinking water & sanitation
Formation of folk healers association, women and men self help groups
