Über uns

Daseinsfreunde stands for solidarity, responsibility and empowerment. Our belief in the equal value of all people is what unifies us, the arrival of refugees in Germany is what brought us together.

We believe integration means empowerment, not loss of identity. It’s about providing the tools to contribute to the new society in a positive way, while at the same time everyone is encouraged to express in his or her own cultural identity. Daseinsfreunde aims to provide these tools in the hopes that once one person has taken part in one of the projects, they will also be able to provide the tools to someone who is still struggling to find their path. We hope to lose the fear of what’s different and by doing so we can begin to celebrate diversity.
