YOUNG AFRICA WOMEN INTIATIVE is a community based organisation. it is is in Kenya Rift valley in Nakuru District.
the organisation was founded by three members who are all women.
the mission of the organisation is to offer a safe, free of judgement place for young girl and teenage mothers who have been impacted in sex trade. we train on women rights as human rights, skills and advocate for peace.
most of these girls were victims of post election violence in 2008 after disputed presidential elections. they were left homeless and live in internally displaced camps.
