KINOKABARET
A filmmaking lab where both amateur and professional filmmakers create and screen their short films in a mindset of collaboration and spontaneity
Its mission is using principles of "non-competitive" and non commercial work to encourage co-creation.
Kino welcomes everyone who wants to shoot a movie with a small amount of money in a very short time, regardless of their age or prior experience.
This brilliant movement which was founded in Canada in 1999 , has quickly spread and has now more than 60 groups worldwide.

We believe the trainings and capacity building of the people involved is an important tool to improve the quantity and quality of services provided to the young Palestinians.
-We're organizing together with our cooperation partner "CINEMA JENIN' a 5-day workshop session (13.-17. June) for our local participants to get more and new skills needed for their work.
* That’s why we need international Kinoites who are willing to give some filmmaking workshops and share their skills
Learning by doing! -
The participants will also have the chance of experiencing, practicing and experimenting
We are going to have 2 sessions between 18.-25. June
2 x 4 days, 18.-21. June and 22.-25. June
We decided to make each session 4 days so that the participants have the opportunity to go to the other Palestinian cities or Israel
to realize their projects.
We are offering all the international participants free accommodation in our beautiful Guesthouse which is next to the Kinolab and breakfast in the Kinogarden.
Beyond that you will get in contact with hospitable and open minded locals who introduce you to Arabic culture.
Please consider that you bring your own equipment with you since we don’t have enough and its not easy to get any in Palestine!
