About us
Pallisa Children's Concern Project(PCCP)
We are a small growing community based organization with a heart to see our children empowered and transformed. We believe that all people, especially the underprivileged, have a right to a better quality of life and through our projects we aim to provide the basic building blocks for a sustainable future for our needy children and our local communities.
This work began on August 4th, 1999, as a result of the ever growing need to care for orphans and street children in our area and beyond. PCCP was officially registered as a community based organization in the year 2000 in response to the large growing number of HIV/Aids orphans, children of war and street kids. PCCP registered in the year 2000 and have since then been able to start up the building of a primary school, in Budaka District (former Pallisa District).
