About us
Morbus Parkinson is a chronic illness which can affect anyone – regardless of age. 10% of Parkinson‘s sufferers are younger than 40 when they are diagnosed.
With the conviction that life with Morbus Parkinson can be positively impacted by our own behavior, we have set ourselves the goal as autonomous foundation to generate more awareness around the various facets of this illness and to provide encouragement to sufferers.
We are committed to strengthening the ability of patients to take responsibility and to driving visibility around alternatives to the usual medications and medicinal therapy methods.
To this aim we sponsor scientific studies in the area of non-pharmaceutical treatment methods and award research prizes as well as supporting self-help projects and initiatives which directly benefit sufferers.
The foundation maintains its principle of autonomy from the pharmaceutical industry and rejects donations from this sector.
