About us

Central Asia Institute empowers communities of Central Asia through literacy and education, especially for girls, promote peace through education, and convey the importance of these activities globally.

Central Asia Institute's community projects are in remote mountain villages of northern Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. The terrain varies from the highest consolidation of mountain peaks in the world to miles of high desert plateau. Very few organizations serve the remote areas where we work.
