About us
Hand in Hand e. V. is a charity supporting and promoting self-help projects for the people in Africa where our aim is to foster independence and self-sufficiency. Our main focus is to give the local people better prospects for the future and an opportunity to cultivate fruit and vegetables so that they can improve their standard of living and escape hunger, thirst and malnutrition which continues to result in the deaths of countless people.
Constructing a well will significantly improve the quality of life of those women and children of the village who currently need to walk over a mile to their nearest well. Their garden plot is 1 hectare in size and consequently requires a lot of water for the young plants to grow. If you have ever carried 10kg on your head, you will have some sympathy for what these women have to deal with on a daily basis.

Wir haben 843,33 € Spendengelder erhalten
Gerade haben uns wieder Bilder von der Orangenernte erreicht. Daran sieht man, das wir auf einem richtigen und gutem Weg sind. Wir sind froh und etwas stolz, dass wir uns für diesen Weg entschieden haben. Denn es funktioniert hervorragend.
Gerade ist Regenzeit in Gambia und somit auch Pflanzzeit für weitere Obstbäume. Unsere letzten abgeschlossenen Projekten wollen wir noch mit Bäumen komplettieren. Dafür benötigen wir Ihre Unterstützung. Wir möchten uns aber auch bei allen Spendern und Unterstützern für das bisher erreichte bedanken.
