About us

TBunte Gärten e.V. was founded in 2016 with the aim of bringing together refugees, newcomers and long-time residents in a green environment. Our community garden in the east of Leipzig comprises four allotment plots and is run by volunteers. We want to be a place that brings people together.

Whether you are from Leipzig or from all over the world, we are open to everyone who enjoys gardening - or simply chatting with each other. There is space in our garden to sit, eat and play together. Everyone is welcome here, whether as a family with children or as an individual. We also organise workshops and parties.

From spring to autumn, we meet in the garden every Saturday from 3 pm to talk to each other, relax and, of course, to garden. We enjoy growing organic vegetables and our insect-friendly flowering plantations. We welcome experienced people who are familiar with special cultivation methods or curious people who are interested in gardening together. We look forward to meeting you!
