About us
Our non-profit association was founded in 1997 and initiated the rescue and renovation of the famous salt house in Zittau (1998-2002). Our association also participated in the renovation of the historic Zittau city baths (2001-2009).
From 2003 to 2005, our association renovated the current clubhouse, a historic residential building at Milchstraße 16 in Zittau.
In 2016, 2017 and 2019, we organized the Festival of Light, "Ring on Feier", which attracted thousands of visitors.
We hold events in the Zittau Fleischbänken and have set ourselves the goal of saving this architectural gem from decay.
We promote civic engagement as well as art and culture.
Our work aims to strengthen the reputation and future viability of the city of Zittau.
