About us

The “Verein für Weiterbildung und Friedensarbeit e. V.” is a non-profit supporting association for educational institutions of further education / adult education with the purpose of further education, advice and encounters for and with people from different social, cultural and religious backgrounds.

With our offers, we want to convey social, personal, professional and intercultural skills. Our goal is to expand personal and professional room for maneuver and to promote social and political participation and employability.

Established in 1979 as part of the peace movement, the “Verein für Weiterbildung und Friedensarbeit e. V.” Bonn is an independent adult education institution.

It is state-recognized under the “Weiterbildungsgesetz von Nordrhein-Westfalen” and approved by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) as a provider of integration courses.
