About us

Our religious community is a registered, non-profit association for the cultivation and practice of Buddhist teaching, primarily in the tradition of the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Their tasks include also the translation and publication of Buddhist texts and literature, the preservation and care of Buddhist art and culture, as well as the support of the education of Buddhist teachers and Tibetan translators.
Beyond traditional doctrine, the religious community sees its mission in engaging in social and environmental projects according to Karmapa's activities, cultivating interfaith dialogue, and to deal with scientific, cultural, and social aspects of Buddhism in seminars, workshops, and conferences.
