About us
We are a relatively small sporting association with more than 400 members, which concentrates on activities in broad sport. MTV stands for "Men's Turn Club". This was founded in 1925. As early as 1929, the 1st Women's Sports Department was established and the name had to be changed theoretically. We identify with the roots and carry on the experienced history of the sports club, so that the name "MTV Gyhum e.V. 1925" has never changed since then.

Wir müssen einsehen, dass unser gesetztes Ziel nicht erreicht werden konnte. Unser Projekt der Anschaffung von Sportbekleidung fand nur zu einem äußerst geringen Teil Befürworter. Wir beenden das Projekt auf Betterplace und werden den Betrag zur Anschaffung von T-Shirts anlässlich des kommenden Kreis-Kinder-Turn und Sportfest in Bevern einsetzen. Ein Versuch war es trotzdem Wert.
