About us

The non-profit association MADE IN BANGLADESH e.V. was founded 2015 in Berlin and is dedicated to promoting development cooperation in Bangladesh. By supporting targeted projects, we want to enable people in Bangladesh to live in dignity and support them with what we take for granted.

We mainly support the construction of deep wells in Bangladesh so that people have access to clean and free drinking water again. Due to natural arsenic deposits in the soil, many of the existing wells are contaminated with the heavy metal. This has led to one of the largest epidemics of skin cancer in history. Through deep wells, which extract water at a minimum depth of 90m, it is possible to use groundwater supplies that do not contain arsenic.

Our commitment so far shows and confirms us in the feeling that change is more than a mere word!
