About us
Since 1907 the nature conservancy Verein Jordsand protects seabirds and marine mammals in Northern Germany. Today, we steward about 20 conservations areas like islands and coastal wetlands. We offer guided tours and interactive environmental programs for children and tourists to show them the beauty of our local nature and its wildlife. As a memberdriven organisation we do not only have professionnel biologists working for us, but rather also dedicated voluntary conservationists and bird lovers supports us.

Die Spendenaktion für unseren Naturerlebnisraum am Haus der Natur ist beendet, die 1.500 Euro sind komplett zusammengekommen! Wir sagen allen Spenderinnen: herzlichen Dank!!!Nun können wir auch die zweite Schubkarre für die Pflege und Instandsetzung der Wege und Flächen in unserem beliebten Park erwerben.
