About us
Medical Volunteers International e.V. (MVI) is a German humanitarian non-profit organisation that provides basic medical aid to people in need, especially People on the Move.
Since 2018, MVI has mainly been active in Greece, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria and on the Sea Punks 1. The organisation is financed by donations and works with an international team of medically trained volunteers, including doctors, nurses and interpreters, to provide medical care for people in precarious living situations. The volunteers are coordinated and managed from Hamburg and Germany, whereby the volunteers act independently on site and are supported by a medical coordinator.
