About us
The Jugendladen Mülheim is located in a former shop in the middle of the Cologne district Mülheim, which is characterized by unemployment and in which the drug focal point Berliner Str./Hacketeuersiedlung is also located. For the young people it is the only alternative to the four mosques and several mosque associations. The small institution is visited by young people between 13 and 19 years of age, who often have large language deficits due to their migration background and thus also difficulties at school or in finding a training place. Some of our older youths do not have a school leaving certificate.
Among the aims of the Jugendladen Mülheim are:
- Better school conditions
- Targeted language and school support through homework supervision
- prevention of violence
- Strengthen community spirit
- Promoting girls

Danke nochmal an alle Spender*innen, die unsere Ferienfreizeiten unterstützen. Ob in diesem Jahr eine Ferienfreizeit realisiert werden kann hängt insbesondere davon ab, ob die pandemische Lage es dann zulässt. Eure Spenden gehen aber nicht verloren und werden bei der nächsten Möglichkeit in eine Ferienfreizeit einfließen.
