About us
The European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) is an international non-profit organisation established in 2008 with offices in Leipzig and Frankfurt, Germany.
EAAD works with partners in 20 countries across Europe, North and South America, and Australia and New Zealand in the Asia Pacific. We aim to improve care and optimise treatment for patients with depressive disorders and to prevent suicidal behaviour.
EAAD achieves this aim by working with partners internationally to implement the evidenced-based 4-level intervention concept, a community based approach targeting depression and suicidal behaviour.
EAAD also implements with partners the multilingual iFightDepression®-tool, an online-based, guided self-management programme for people suffering from mild to moderate forms of depression and the iFightdepression® website, providing evidence-based information about depression and suicidal behaviour.

iFightDepression® Tool relaunched with new Features for better Self-Management!
We proudly announce the relaunch of the iFightDepression® Tool! The past months were work-intensive, but now we are able to offer an improved version of the iFD tool - and it is still free of charge for users!
Key Updates:
Healthcare professionals interested in integrating the iFD Tool into their practice can participate in a dedicated online training program at https://guides.ifightdepression.com/apply. This training consists of four modules, taking approximately 70 minutes to complete, and provides participants with personal access to the tool, along with certification upon completion.
The updated iFD Tool is now available at https://tool.ifightdepression.com. For further assistance, users can contact ifightdepression@eaad.net, and healthcare professionals can inquire about training at ifd-online-training@eaad.net.
