About us

We build bridges with Jewish cuisine. We use food and cooking as sensory experiences to get to know and experience different cultures. What is Jewish about an aubergine? Why is gefilte fish called gefilte fish? Where does the hole in the bagel come from? Our most important event is the Gefilte Fest, which takes place once a year. There you can learn about Jewish cuisine in workshops, lectures, films and discussions and try your hand at it yourself.
