Dear Dharma sisters and brothers, dear friends, 

Another eventful year is slowly coming to an end. This year, Gomde Germany-Austria hosted many seminars and presented projects as part of the European cultural capital 2024. This has only been possible due to the generosity of sponsors like you!

Additionally, Gomde is currently fundraising for the purchase of a piece of woodland adjacent to Gomde. Buying this land would ensure the sustainability of the centre, bring peace to the area by making it forbidden to hunt there, and help our dear neighbour in a difficult situation. Therefore, in addition to covering the running costs of Gomde’s operations (electricity, heating, sewerage, food), a part of your donations is also used for this purpose.

Currently, most of Gomde’s full-time residents, as well as many sangha members, are in Nepal to celebrate the opening of the new 1000 Buddha monastery in Lumbini. Together, we are making vast offerings for Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche’s long life, the flourishing of his enlightened activities, and the benefit of all sentient beings.
