About us
The Business Angel Institute is an independent international research and education initiative fostering the development of business angels.
Headquartered in Vienna, it bridges the gap between scientific research and practical experience. Particularly in Europe, the potential of early-stage capital is far from being exhausted. Like the American Angel Resource Institute, the Business Angel Institute facilitates an ongoing exchange of experiences not only within, but also across regional angel networks. The Institute organizes workshops, conducts a comprehensive training program, which also prepares participants for the Certified Business Angel (CBA) exam, and supports them through their alumni association, the CBA Cercle.
In Austria, the Institute offers its events directly. In other countries, the Institute works with local partners to conduct the knowledge transfer.
