About us
Our solidarity social cooperative was founded in Berlin in June 2016. The idea for founding arose from the sister organization KARUNA - Help for Children and Young People in Need eV.. Over 100 people, companies and organisations quickly came together. Our goal was to build a vibrant community, for solidarity and a life in harmony with nature. There were many young people among us who had previously been socially excluded. Many of them have now found their place in the cooperative and are part of the community as members and owners.
Today, as KARUNA eG, we concentrate on overcoming crises and seek and test socio-ecological and socio-economic solutions to prevent future crises. We do this together with people who have experienced exclusion and whom we see as experts in their life situation. They are indispensable in order to shape social change fairly.

Wir haben 3.151,48 € Spendengelder erhalten
Das projekt wurde erfolgreich im Jahr 2024 umgesetzt: Der Garten steht!
Alle Kosten wurden im Jahr 2024 ausgegeben von KARUNA-Partner*innen, Studierenden und Zivilgesellschaft in Kuba. Dank der Spenden wurde das soziale und ökologische Projekt ermöglicht. Wir haben Anbaumaterialien (zB Samen und Gartenmaterial) und Transportkosten für den Tiny Farm bezahlt. Ein toller Austausch findet immer noch statt und das Projekt entwickelt sich im KARUNA Reallabor weiter.
