Executive summary
Mukono District Farmers Association Ltd (MDFA) is a Non-profit, people-centered Non-Government Organization (NGO); under Registration 37382 (80010000389876) supporting farmers and contributing to economic development among the local farming population in Mukono District. MDFA is a farmers’ organization embracing farmers and agro-related organizations in Mukono, with a view of enhancing their capacity, in improving all crops production at household levels. The organization has been in existence since 1992.MDFA is a registered member and was nurtured by UNFFE; and attained an autonomous status in 1997 and has since then continued to grow.
