About us
Background
Rural Smiles Foundation is a Youths and women centred non-profit organization whose mandate is to advance and advocate for Health rights, digital rights and economic empowerment among vulnerable persons in Uganda. Registered as a non-profit organization 23 Feb 2023 to advocate and advance, Health, digital rights and economic rights and empowerment among vulnerable persons including refugees, persons with disabilities, sex workers, Adolescent Girls, women and children especially those in rural communities.
Our Mandate
HOCEFO’s mandate is to ensure that vulnerable Rural Communities in Uganda have access to Sustainable Social economic services and are empowered to contribute to sustainable development. We achieve this through utilization of the “human rights based and the community driven approaches” in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals that guide direct implementation of projects in areas of project planning, execution and documentation in thematic area
