About us

The sanctuary Lebenshof Odenwald, located in Germany (Mörlenbach), offers a place to live to rescued animals that otherwise would not have been so lucky. These are mainly so-called farm animals, such as cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens or rabbits. The animals are cared for here and sheltered in a species-appropriate manner to the best of our ability, without having to provide any "benefit" in return.

"Saving one animal does not change the whole world, but the whole world changes for that one animal."

We are actively involved in animal welfare and with your support we would like to help as many animals in need as possible, provide temporary or permanent species-appropriate sheltering for rescued animals. Above all, we would like to do one thing: give the animals themselves a voice and show that behind each of these creatures there is a personality of its own, with its own feelings and emotions.
