About us
The Yusra Mardini Foundation uses sport and education as an integration tool and to provide health care for refugees worldwide. With Yusra Mardini, our NGO is led by a woman with refugee experience. We pursue approaches in the implementation of sports and education projects that place people and the reality on the ground at the center of development. We engage with our partners with a particular focus on mental health and protection in sport to promote positive change for participants. In our work, the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect are very important to us and we are guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Latest project news
The start of the project is guaranteed
Together with our partner Yoga and Sport with Refugees, we have now decided to launch the project. The first courses have also been covered by existing funding and further support from volunteers. We are now looking to expand the project and need further support to do so.
