About us

Ethio-Somali Mother and Child Health Organization (EMCO) is a pledge national NGO headquartered in Jijiga town, the capital city of the Somali regional state of Ethiopia. EMCO is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit, and humanitarian organization established in 2016 by a team of Ethiopian experts with clear understanding and knowledge of the problems and gaps/ challenges affecting the most vulnerable portion of the community that covers the wider population in the Somali regional state. This is aimed at responding to the limitations and various development drawbacks and human severing of the most marginalized class of the communities living in the Som regional state.
