Experiencing music in concert is an experience - again and again!
But elaborate concerts, sometimes with a large orchestra and outstanding soloists, cost a lot of money! The income from tickets only covers a small part of the costs. The rest has to be financed primarily through donations.
This is precisely where the Friends of the Darmstädter Kantorei e.V. come in. It has set itself the task of supporting the concerts of the Darmstädter Kantorei through membership fees and donations.
Just as important as the promotion of the choir's concerts is its work with young talent. The Darmstädter Singschule is an integral part of the Darmstädter Kantorei with currently around 140 children and young people in the various groups. The singing school offers age-appropriate musical development for children and young people of all ages. A wide musical range from children's songs to musicals and sacred music, with regular performances in church services and concerts.
