About us

We are Berlin Mondiale, a network of artists and cultural practitioners in the context of migration, asylum and exile.

Since 2014, Berlin Mondiale has been committed to offering free, multilingual cultural programs in the outskirts of Berlin, where access to art and culture is limited. Many of these areas are home to residents with migration, asylum, or exile backgrounds. As the only organization in Berlin working at the intersection of arts, migration, and cultural access, we focus on reaching underserved neighborhoods. By prioritizing inclusivity and decentralization, we create opportunities for artistic and cultural participation that reflect the diverse social fabric of Berlin and bridge gaps in cultural access. Through our work, we affirm that art is a right, not a luxury.
