About us

We're young people motivated to improve Latin American living conditions, raising awareness in Germany. Desierto Florido e.V., est. 2004, supports local initiatives in Latin America through financial aid and cultural events. Projects focus on food security, healthcare, education, and culture, developed through personal visits, regular contacts and close partnerships, ensuring transparency and information exchange.

We guarantee that 100% of the donations flow into the projects. Other costs of the association's work are covered by membership fees. We support all projects free of any party-political or religious affiliation. With our work, we assume a piece of global social responsibility and invite you to do the same.
