About us
While Samuha's registered office is in Bengaluru, it is headquartered in a small campus just off Kanakagiri.
Samuha's present interventions support over 3000 people with disabilities, a small school for dalit children, micro credit support for 11,000 women, sustainable agriculture with over 300 farmers, 2 CDM cookstove projects that is in the process of being rolled out and which will benefit 43,000 households, a carbon-neutral village concept that is being trialled in 1 gram panchayat, and an operational presence in 510 villages. in addition to this, Samuha's social justice resource group works with marginalised communities across the State. Samuha supports people living with/affected by HIV/AIDS through Samraksha.
The Samuha Overseas Development Association (SODA) in Prince George was started by Hillary Crowley a returned Action Health volunteer.
SCI Germany supports Samuha through volunteers.
