About us
In the 1970’s, women in Awutu Senya District generated income from selling of local brew made from bananas and sorghum and selling of local poultry birds, eggs and a variety of green vegetables. There was household horticultural farming, which included the growing of tomatoes, onions, cabbages, egg plants and fruits like oranges, pineapples, mangoes for sale by women.
