Chimpanzee Sanctuary & Wildlife Conservation Trust is an NGO that was established in 1998 to give welfare to rescued orphaned chimpanzees at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Lake Victoria. Today the sanctuary is home to 48 chimpanzees.
Over the years the sanctuary has survived on donations from our trustees, visitor revenue & well wishers. The donations and visitor numbers are now low and the rising inflation is Uganda as well as increasing number of chimpanzees in the sanctuary has made it worse.
We are now facing a challenge of meeting the food expenses for the chimpanzees.
Your kind support will make a big difference in the lives of these orphaned chimpanzees.
