    About this project

Tim Höhnemann from Verein zur Förderung der Leichtahletik is responsible for this project
With combined efforts, we were able to establish the discipline "pole vault" in Fürth in recent years. In addition to the repair of the pole vaulting mats, the renewal and supplementation of the existing poles for our top performers was supported by donations.

They thanked us with success! This winter, for example, they won a complete set of medals at the Bavarian Indoor Championships.

But without young talent this wouldn't be sustainable!
For learning and practicing the discipline of pole vaulting, it is necessary that the poles are suitable in length and bending ability for the skills and physical dimensions of the jumper. What is still lacking at the moment are suitable poles for our youngsters.
About 1000 - 3000 Euros are needed annually to purchase jumping poles in addition to the running costs for the sports and competition operations of the club. This includes the purchase of poles for beginners, as well as poles that are tailored to the physical constitution and performance level of the advanced athletes currently in the club - as well as the replacement of poles that would represent a long-term safety risk due to their age. With this project we would like to finance a partial sum. For this we ask for your support.
