Emergency Aid for Ukrainian children and families.

Immediate help for children and families affected by the war both in the L'viv region and those fleeing the country arriving in the Starnberg area.

With over 20 years of direct experience  supporting vulnerable children and orphans in Ukraine, we are well poised to help those who are displaced and in desperate need.  
 Our  Ukrainian team of full time workers in Lviv have already started to buy supplies such as sleeping bags and food and are working together with local organisations  and government to identify those in need and to distribute the supplies directly to them. 

  Besides material assistance, there are calls for our team and our large volunteer body to help children overcome their trauma. The children desperately need help to overcome the horrible stress caused through the war and fear they are experiencing. Sirens, rushing to underground shelters, evacuation drills at school, parents and family in tears. The trauma of having left their fathers and homes behind, fathers and brothers going off to war.    In addition, our staff and psychotherapist are training further mentors and volunteers in how to help children through this terrible crisis.
 We plan to help as long as the need is there and ability to work freely.  
  We need funding to continue buying the urgently needed supplies as well as fund the support programmes for the children and their carers and to help those who are arriving here in Bayern.
