Ukraine needs freedom energies 🇺🇦

Together with WECHANGE, we have helped to set up an NGO network of energy enthusiasts in Ukraine in 2021, who want to promote a decentralised energy transition in the hands of citizens. (see map) In the summer, we were still sitting hopefully with 30 #Ukrainians 🇺🇦 on a Berlin rooftop terrace, planning #energycooperatives and dreaming of a shared future with #hydrogen instead of gas. 🌻
Now these people are at war🕊.
But in Russia, Berlin and all over the world millions are demonstrating for peace! And all of Europe, incl. Ukraine is converting to #freedomenergy!

Now we want to use our connections to help with you, to save people's lives in a very concrete way! With mobile solar systems. The idea came from Astrid Schneider and Gotthard Schulte from Eurosolar, the network that started the German energy transition with Hermann Scheer.

The Russian attackers are destroying more and more the energy supply of the cities. People can no longer charge their mobile phones, communicate with each other, find their families or even report to the world what Putin is doing in the country. At night, without light, it is also no longer possible to coordinate help, read or carry out emergency operations.
To give the civilian population early warning of attacks, especially at night, people have set up patrols and night watches. These too need to communicate, by walki-talki if necessary.
