Help child cancer patients ON-SITE in the pediatric hospital Lviv (Ukraine)

Together with the Ukrainian Medical Association Germany, we support the children's hospital in Lviv. Here, despite all the hardships of the war, children with cancer receive help, so that they don't have to die just because they can't be treated.

The people of the Ukraine are fleeing war and violence in their country. 73.000 of them are children. Daily. Many of these children are seriously ill.
More und more of the critically ill children arrive at the local children's hospital and the associated "Regional Children's Specialized Clinical Hospital" in Lviv. The city is located in the West of the Ukraine. It has become the last place of hope for many internally displaced people: Mainly very ill children who suffer from cancer are now being treated here.
Doctors and staff at the hospital have reached their limits. They treat absolute emergencies as well as children with childhood cancer, who have fled there from other regions of the Ukraine. The hospital takes care of all small cancer patients - even if their families cannot pay for the treatment.
We work closely with the Ukrainian Medical Association in Germany. The association organises 2-3 weekly deliveries of urgently needed medicine & medical equipment for the cancer treatment of the little patients to the children's hospital in Lviv. The project is led by Dr. Oksana Ulan, a German/Ukrainian medical doctor and board member of the association.
Together we want to help those children with childhod cancer and their families in this catastrophic situation.
The situation in the hospital is more than serious. Almost everything is missing: Medicines, important supplies as well as devices. But they are essential for the doctors and nurses to be able to continue the cancer treatment and other vital measures for the children.
As the situation is outright desperate: Please help us help these critically ill children in the children's hospital in Lviv.
The regular transport of medicines and medical supplies is secured even in this uncertain situation. There are no problems at the borders. The goods can be brought into the country. Doctors and staff at the hospital have agreed on and vowed to continue and to keep carrying out the treatment. They give their all for the little patients.
