New foundation asap e.V. - abusive structures aren`t private

asap e.V. supports women* and children who are survivors of domestic violence. The major project of asap e.V. at the moment is the housing agency. Its aim is to provide women* and children who have become homeless due to domestic violence with a new flat with their own permanent tenancy agreement. This is an important basic requirement to be able to re-establish oneself after a separation due to domestic violence and/or a stay in a shelter. Until recently, the housing agency was run by another association. On 1 October 2021, the then seven staff members* of the housing agency founded asap e.V. in order to take into account the increased importance of the project against the background of the increasingly tight housing market in Berlin and to create a structure for the realisation of new support services at the interface of homeless assistance/anti-violence work. 

The housing agency project is financed by grants from the Senate Department for Science, Health, Care and Equality. However, there is no funding for the fixed costs of the association! Some of these costs are covered by our membership fees - for the rest we rely on donations. That's why we need you! Help us to give asap e.V. a secure basis to enable the development and implementation of new ideas to support survivors of domestic violence.
