Help for chronically ill and disabled children

Sustainably improving the quality of life and opportunities for chronically ill and disabled children and their families is the central concern of the non-profit organization Klabautermann e.V. If a child is born too early or with a disability, has a serious accident or is diagnosed with a chronic illness, life changes The whole family is profound. They often face existential challenges and stresses. In addition to caring for the child's health and development, the often complex care needs to be managed, many appointments have to be coordinated, therapy and support options and much more have to be organized. With its interdisciplinary aftercare team (children's nurses, social educators, psychologists), Klabautermann e.V. supports families in their home environment. However, families increasingly need additional financial support, for example because helpful therapies are not covered by health insurance. Families with low incomes and single parents are particularly affected, as they quickly find themselves in financial difficulties due to the additional costs caused by illness. We ask you to finance additional hours for our specialists in the families that are not covered by health insurance. Every additional hour directly benefits the children and families affected. Every euro counts - even if you don't want to donate 55 euros for the full hour - every euro counts and reaches the families. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. - Together we are strong.
