Our association has set itself the goal of promoting, spreading and supporting the public exchange of opinions, knowledge and experiences with free remote software technologies in the sense of Free/Libre Open Source Software.
We currently have three sub-projects for which we collect donations: Arctica, FreeRDP and X2Go.
Of course, as an umbrella organization, we also need to collect donations for ourselves so that we don't have to finance our running costs entirely through membership fees. Banking fees, tax consulting costs and the like all need to be paid directly by orca e.V. and not by the sub-projects - their funds are off limits for such expenses.
