Support our work from Germany for a free, democratic and inclusive Myanmar!
In doing so, we proceed according to our association statutes.
This means among other things the following:
- the creation and / or provision of generally understandable information to raise awareness about the political, social and societal situation in Southeast Asia, especially in Myanmar; e.g. by creating and distributing country-specific information free of charge in the form of brochures, media articles and other publications, as well as in the context of other public relations work.
- The promotion, initiation or implementation of topic-related, publicly accessible, information events, exhibitions, discussions and training, projects and workshops. The thematic focus can be, for example, on conveying information regarding the political structures and the conflicts in Myanmar and their effects on the population as well as the culture of Myanmar. The goal of the event can also be intercultural exchange.
- the establishment of a donation-based structure for the procurement of donations in kind, time and money for the purpose of using them for the benefit of the statutory purposes as well as the financial and material support through the transfer of funds to other corporations or legal entities under public law in Germany and abroad within the framework of § 58 No. 1 AO.
- the cooperation in statutory activities with non-profit organizations from Southeast Asia, especially Myanmar.
- The procurement and establishment of free contact and counseling centers for politically, racially or religiously persecuted persons and refugees as well as discriminated persons, especially from Myanmar, where these persons receive acute help and through which help is also provided for self-help, for example to overcome the consequences of persecution and discrimination.
- The mediation and creation of free emergency shelters for politically, racially or religiously persecuted persons and refugees and discriminated persons, especially from Myanmar.
