Being proactive is one of Never Walk Alone's greatest virtues.
Summer is almost upon us.
Summer time means parasites that can be particularly dangerous for our dogs in Greece.
They transmit Mediterranean diseases such as leishmaniasis, Ehrlich rose and heartworm.
In order to be able to prevent this at an early stage, we are already asking for donations that will enable us to provide our more than 3000 dogs with adequate parasite prophylaxis in due course.
Unfortunately, the preparations are not cheap in Greece either, but they are cheaper than a dog suffering from leishmaniasis or heartworm, which in the best case can be treated with expensive veterinary measures.
Unfortunately, these diseases often end in death.
A pack of Spot-On is 12.00 euros.
This means that in order to be able to safely cover ONE dog at the wedding, we need 3 packages of 12.00 euros each for a total of 36.00 euros
For 3,000 dogs, that makes the proud sum of 108,000 euros.
Our preferred remedy is Vectra 3D because it is effective not only against ticks but also against fleas, sand flies, mosquitoes and stable flies - so all-round protection!
Every amount, no matter how small, helps us to put an end to the annoying bloodsuckers and many helping hands put a quick end to it.
