KinderClub Ukraine

End of February 2022 tens of thousands of families with children came to Berlin from Ukraine to escape the war. To help children with adaptation to this sudden and difficult change our organization, Karussell e.V., opened a kids club for Ukrainian children. With the help of Berlin volunteers and the refugees themselves we have been able to organize temporary babysitting, as well as regularly conduct classes in Ukrainian, German, theater, choreography, fashion and design. About 200 children have been participating in our club at different times. In December we held a New Year's concert based on the stage performances of the kids. Photos from this concert can be viewed on our website. In 2022, our club has been surviving thanks to the efforts of volunteers, donations from kind people and financial support from the city of Berlin (district Pankow).

Unfortunately, the war did not end, in 2023 and children still need our support. Therefore, in order to continue the activities of the club, we turn to you for help. Your donations will be used to continue the activities of the club:
 • choreographic class
 • fashion and design
 • Ukrainian language classes
 • a kindergarten for little Ukrainians who have not yet found a place in one of the kindergartens in Berlin.

Most of the classes are taught by refugees who were also forced to flee the war. Your donations will help them financially and, perhaps more importantly, psychologically. The list and topics of classes may vary slightly due to the personal circumstances of our teachers. You can follow current events in our club on our website.
