Support Kulturschöpfer e.V`s work in Berlin-Friedrichshain

To continue our work of walking alongside Culture Makers in their journey, we need support to hire 3 part-time positions from March to June (Director, Ops & Finance Mgr, and Programm Manager) that can manage, organize and run the activities so that every Culture Maker can keep discovering their identity, experience community and knowing beauty in all its fullness. Kulturschöpfer wants to do this by continuing to run its regular programming, which volunteers have done until now. Our regular programming includes some of the following activities: Offer 3 rounds/year of the Training Program; Offer 2 rounds of our international Artist Residency Program In-Between/year while keeping the participation fees affordable; Offer regular programming of events and courses; Be a reference point for the neighborhood where they can realize their dreams, ideas, and projects; Continue to develop high impacts projects, such as projects in collaboration with schools and artists, projects for refugees or collaboration projects in the neighborhood.  Kulturschöpfer is a connection point between people and cultures, a crossroad of cultures in which everyone is welcome to join and is invited to be themselves. In this way, people bring their own experiences, knowledge, and cultural differences into our space, making KS a hub for cultural exchange. Through the positive values of active listening, trust, understanding, collaboration, and low pressure, we encourage, enable, support, and equip others to be the creators, the culture makers they were always meant to be. What we, as Culture Makers, create is a new culture developed from the positive experience of sharing, discovering, and learning that happens within our space. We are a hub where people from different paths meet and build a community together. Berliners, Germans, Internationals, Expats, Migrants, and Refugees meet here to create together, engage with one another, and inspire each other. Our programs and activities bring people together to experience community, discover their identity by engaging with others and know beauty in all its fullness. In this context, KS becomes a safe harbor for every person who have just arrived in Berlin and those who have been in Berlin for a long time. Thanks to our values and community, we invest in people and believe in their dreams. By doing so, we give them the self-confidence they need to keep dreaming and realizing their ideas.
