Free German lessons for Ukrainians

The Global Experience e.V. is a non-profit organization and a dynamically growing intercultural network committed to global education and strengthening intercultural dialogue.
After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we established a help desk together with Easy Languages GmbH to support Ukrainian refugees upon their arrival in Germany. After a short time, we realized that the need for language classes was very high, as the existing offers were quickly booked up. In the following weeks, with the help of friends, acquaintances and volunteers from our network, we set up several offers for Ukrainian refugees to learn German for free, including two online courses for beginners.
One of the courses is led by volunteer German teachers from the UK and the US, the other by Kristina, a Ukrainian student who herself came to Germany as a result of the war. Since Kristina herself fled Ukraine and has to finance her studies, we pay her a fee for her work, which we finance through donations. We also equip the students with the appropriate books to ensure effective teaching. In order to continue this project, we need your help!
Both courses have now reached A2 level and we would like to support the refugees to reach at least B2 level. Many of the participants are currently looking for jobs for which this level is required. Your donations will be used to finance Kristina's work and to provide learning materials!
