About this project

Mark Schmidts from We integrate e.V. is responsible for this project
In Nuremberg alone, more than 500 jobs are currently advertised on the IT job market. The demand for corresponding experts in the software industry can therefore not be met by graduates of IT training programs and local universities.
To counteract the shortage of skilled workers and strengthen the professional and social integration of refugees and migrants in the metropolitan region, we integrate 2023 is launching a new coaching program in the "We code IT Academy" project. As with the previous mentoring program and the preceding pilot project, the aim is to connect migrants and experienced professionals from the software industry. The latter offer migrants important support on their way to a successful entry into the IT industry.
With each additional coaching session, the We code IT Academy gathers important information to design future support programs and introduce young talents to the world of work.
