Explanatory videos for personal coaching of cancer patients

We are TherapySelect non-profit gUG (haftungsbeschränkt), a small but dedicated non-profit company from Heidelberg. Our aim is to enable cancer patients to understand their disease and fight it together with their doctors. 
When a person is diagnosed with cancer, it usually comes as a great shock and is associated with many fears and questions. However, doctors are often unable to find the time to answer all of their patients' questions about their illness and possible treatment options. As a result, cancer patients often feel helpless and alone as they have no contact person to support them in their fears. 

For this reason, we offer personalised patient coaching. We want to help cancer patients to get all the information they need about their illness and its treatment, so that they can cope better with their illness. 

The selection of an effective therapy is crucial for the prognosis of cancer. That is why we also support cancer patients in finding an effective therapy. There are various diagnostic options that can be used to analyse whether the planned therapy is effective or not before starting treatment. Only if an effective therapy is administered is there a chance of a cure. 

In order to explain the various diagnostic and treatment options to cancer patients and their relatives as clearly and simply as possible, we would like to create 2 explanatory videos in which these two topics are presented. These explanatory videos should help us in our communication with patients and provide them with all the information they need. We would therefore ask you for a donation so that we can provide cancer patients with the best possible support. Only when patients are informed they can make the right treatment decisions together with the doctors treating them and cope better with their illness ("patient empowerment"). It has been proven that informed cancer patients have a higher quality of life and a better treatment outcome.
