The Stadt.Teil.Raum (https://stadtteilraum.walle.jetzt/) was planned and built by the housing groups of the Waller Mitte (https://www.waller-mitte.de/). The idea of the Stadt.Teil.Raum is to offer spaces for the neighborhood, the district and the interested public in general, in addition to the housing projects in which people can live together in solidarity and self-administration. The Stadt.Teil.Raum is also supposed to be self-organized and easily accessible. The focus is supposed to be on sustainability and alternative ways of relating to and living with each other. Concrete plans so far are open wood and bicycle workshops, a repair café, a foyer as a space for information and exchange, and a loan of cargo bikes.
