About this project

Helmut Huber from Fans for Nature e.V. is responsible for this project
The main task is to protect intact rainforest areas. In the border regions, we aim to create a protection zone by reforestation with new rainforest. Protecting large areas of intact forests serves to protect the species that inhabit them, helps the people living around the area, and aids humanity in the fight against climate change.

Additionally, we are trying to rebuild a defunct rescue center in Wehea. It will become a short- and long-term animal shelter, where we also intend to receive volunteers. To ensure the protection of the forest, we have employed more rangers who expose and prevent poaching and illegal logging. This makes it a release area for wildlife that can be reintroduced into the wild, and we strictly ensure that existing animal populations are not endangered by reintroductions.

Urgent support is needed to protect the rainforest and care for the animals.
